2012 – October Prologue #11
Errol: Today, in my region, there is a meet and greet for new people! It’s a clay social, where people get together, design their inner editor, and then destroy it! Ha!
Sadly, I cannot go. For me, Nano has started a little early, so I figured I should spend as much time as I could with my family. Of course, that didn’t start me from blogging a bit about Nano on my personal website. 😀
Our Kick Off meeting is on Monday though, so I can’t wait! Hope you guys have a great weekend!

Errol: Ok, yes, the Victoria character was based on someone, but mostly in name only (And maybe a little bit of the stress part too). However, it is NOT her in real life. Apparently, a few of her friends came up to her and asked why she was moving away for 3 months and why she didn’t tell them. However, she’s not! It’s only comic Victoria that is. Most of the plot is completely made up. And the events and socials they go to are based on events and socials that happen in my region. But that’s it. 😀
Having said, that do any of the characters remind YOU of real life Wrimo friends?

Errol: Surprisingly enough, Jen has been rather calm for the last few comics. I wonder if she’s finally getting into the groove of NaNoWriMo. 😀
Last year, the prologue comics focused more on being a Municipal Liaison, and it’s not that much different this year. Being an ML can be very rewarding, btw, even though I do go on about how much hard work it is! So, if you are an ML, or know of an ML that has done great work, want to comment on some favourite moments?
2012 – October Prologue #4
Errol: How are you guys with your outline? I don’t have one yet. I’ve been doing other things, like this comic. I hope to do a collaboration, (which isn’t allowed) but then I may do a second novel so that I don’t break rules, but we will see how that goes. I did that last year, and it kinda wore me out.
2012 – October Prologue #3
Errol: There’s a lot of work that goes into organizing NaNoWrimo. That’s why I feel for the ML’s. Trying to get the venues booked, trying to find out how many people are going, and people always prodding you for answers. That’s why I never wanted to be one. I saw how hard it was! And let’s not talk about the drama! So for all you ML’s out there, pat yourself on the back. You deserve it!
