2015 – November 23rd

Sadly, I’m having a hard time keeping up creating the webcomics. And thus, Kari hasn’t been able to edit them. SO! There may be all sorts of problems in the upcoming webcomics, so feel free to point them out.

  1. I had no idea I needed this laugh until I laughed. Writer’s cramp was too painful for me to sleep last night until I had iced my shoulder and both sides of my elbow. And now that I’m awake, I think I need to ice my shoulder again.
That said… I LOVE PARI! I mean, I totally want to give Mel a hug because she had no clue what she was getting herself into… But I love Pari! You go, girl! (Yes, I do know she’s being written by a boy. That’s beside the point.) I also love the idea of a word war being based on actual prose as well as word count… But I have questions. Are we basing it on the totally subjective quality of writing? The slightly less subjective rules of grammar? The far more objective accuracy of spelling? All of the above?
…I… may have a slight obsession with detail. Which may or may not have something to do with why I’m 20,000 words below par for today. ….AHHH! MUST WRITE!!!! (I’m definitely channeling Jen this year…)

    1. *laugh* Pari is hilarious. I didn’t know how her character would pan out. I guess I do now!
And for now, I will say the prose is judged on ALL of it! ^_^

  2. I would never win a word war if I were judged on both word count and prose. When I get a high word count, it’s because I don’t think much about the words. And I ignore mistakes. If someone were to read what I’d written immediately after, they may disqualify me because it looks like I’m just typing gibberish!
